Male Clients Going For Under Age Sex Workers
Human rights activists have raised concern over the rising number of child prostitutes in the country.
Roseline Oguta of Moraa Foundation an orgainization that is championing for the rights of sex workers in Nairobi more children aged between 10 and 12 years old are currently engaging in the sex trade that has found roots in the area.
Speaking to Ghetto Radio News, Obala says more clients are going for the young girls because they charge as little as 20 shillings are not aware of their rights and the law.
Obala says most of these children are introduced into the trade by their relatives who most probably are practising it already.
