A 33 year old man was yesterday electrocuted to death while he was allegedly trying to illegally connect power to a school in Migori County.

Felix Okoth Odoyo was allegedly instructed by the Kameji Mixed Principal Mr. Gordon Ochieng Mugah to reconnect power that was allegedly disconnected by Kenya Power.

Okoth, an electrician in private practice unfortunately died in the process of reconnecting the power.

The school’s power connection had allegedly been disconnected due to the huge power bills it had accrued.

The body was later moved and taken to Mortuary as police commence investigations into the matter.

Kenya Power has embarked on a countrywide disconnection of illegal power connections.

This is in a bid to save the billions of shillings lost in the illegal business.
