The Manchester United star Marcus Rashford returns to Manchester United squad yesterday with a classic goal in Carabao Cup amid fears that he could depart to Paris Saint-Germain.
But Ten Hag confirmed that United would be activating the extension in his contract – mostly to ensure he cannot leave for free in the summer when his contract ends.
United are keen for him to sign a new deal but there are concerns that he is running down his contract, with Paris Saint-Germain very close in signing him.

“I can’t answer that question, he has to make a decision. What we can do is to show him that this is the best club to be in, and it has to do with the culture of the club, but also in the way we are working together.’’ Ten Hag said when asked for his thoughts on that theory involving the 25-year-old.
The PSG links have been present for some time, and the club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi confirming talks as he compares Rashford performance with that of Kylian Mbappe.Th is a clear indicator that Rashford could be on his way to PSG.
