Karim Mandonga’s arch rival Shaban Kaoneka has called it quits in the game of boxing citing poor pay and lack of a management team.
Kaoneka who floored Mandonga with a TKO 4th Round (Technical knock out)in July had an interview with Global tv where he hinted calling it a day from boxing.
“Kwanza mimi nafikiria ngumi kuacha…ili niendelee na ngumi lazima nipate management ndio nafikiria kuendelea na ngumi kwa sababu hivi promoter anakupigia wewe simu..mwisho wa siku unaenda kukubali pambano kwa sababu tu ya njaa upate riziki unaona na hela ndogo alafu baadaye unakuja kujutia mwenyewe” Explained Kaoneka.
Evading Bar Friends
Kaoneka went further and shared that he’s been trying as much as possible to stay away from his ‘beer friends ‘ who are quick in buying him alcohol and are not easy in giving him money for sustainability.

Mandonga Proud Owner Of Two Cars
Just days after being gifted his first car,Nadia from Tanzanian businessman Dicksound following his kenyan win against Wanyonyi, Mandonga’s star has continued to shine as he was gifted another car,Subaru Impreza by another business magnate,Mo Green.
“Gari nililochagua mimi nimechagua mnyama mmoja wa ajabu yani ni Subaru matata new model, Mandonga mtu kazi natembelea gari yani yakitajiri na yakifahari” He Roared.
The tough talking Mandonga revealed setting the first car as a family car to be used by his wife and children.

Like his norm, Mandonga went ahead and coined another name for his jab, Not Ndoige,not Peleso Peleso and not sugunyo but rather Mo strong kanitangaze.
“Sasa nitakuja na slogan mpya na ngumi yangu naitangaza leo ngumi mpya itaitwa ‘Mo Strong Kanitangaze’ ya Mandonga mtu kazi” added Mandonga amid cheers.
Nonetheless, Kaoneka has maintained that he won’t take to the ring without a proper structure as he cannot eat fame.
