UDA candidate for Kibra Parliamentary seat McDonald Mariga now wants the police to investigate an alleged attack of his agents at the Olympics Primary polling station.
According to Mariga, three of his agents including a male and a female were injured and forced to rush to the Deputy County Commissioner’s office for cover.
“It is quite unfortunate that my agents were seriously assaulted this morning and thrown out of the polling stations. They had to take cover at the DC’s office,” said Mariga.
He further alleged that in some polling stations like the Old Kibera Polling station and Toy polling station, his agents were denied entry.
“The situation is worse at Toy Polling station because none of our agents is in any of the streams. I have spent the whole morning trying to sort the mess,” he said.
The former Kenyan international is set to cast his vote at the DC grounds.
