Hook master Sir Bwoy has disclosed that Kenyan military band, Maroon Commandos owe his grandma for years of using her instruments without pay. He further added that at her grandma’s deathbed, she rued her association with the band.
However, he revealed that the harsh treatment experienced by his grandma at the hands of the decorated band fuels him.
“Yeye huniambia hizi vyombo zenye hawa wasee wanatumia zilikuwa vya kwangu mpaka nakumbuka yeye huwaga like alipass on akiwa like this guys manze hawajawahi nishughulikia but mi husemanga from there, let me run the legacy” he asserted partly.
During the online engagement, Sir Bwoy narrated how he started learning how to play the guitar. It was at his disposal thanks to grandma.

In the years that followed after her demise, Sir Bwoy would bump into her grandma’s MCSK certificate, meaning she was all conversant with the music business.
He also took time to describe her glam and eloquence which catapulted his now departed grandma.

Started Off As A Singer
While sharing his musical journey, he affirmed that he kicked off his musical career as an RnB artist.
At that time, most of his pals were all rappers, however, they needed someone to lay the catchy choruses and hooks.
He was the man to go to now, before he knew it, his musical dream had taken off.
When one mentions Hip hop group, Wakadinali, Sir Bwoy’s name also lingers for his exceptional contribution to the group.
With a killer creativity, humor and street cred, Sir Bwoy has let his magic in several of Wakadinali features such as their runaway hit ‘Geri Inengi’ and ‘Blow Me Kisses’ among others.
‘Geri Inengi’ was also the song that brought Sir Bwoy to the limelight, he has since shared the stage with unknown numbers of global stars.
He noted that ‘Geri Inengi’ is actually translation for ‘Another Gang’ or simply ‘Another Crew’. The group comprises of a duo, him and Wakadinali member, Munga and have projects coming soon.
He also has another album with Ares dubbed Sababisha.
