We are in Azimio to stay,' Karua, Kioni say as they launch Kamwene caucus

Narc-K Party Leader Martha Karua,Jubilee party Secretary Jeremiah Kioni and other leaders today launch Kamwene Unity Forum which will be championing Mount Kenya Region.

During an interview with KTN news ,Martha Karua said that Kamwene Forum is for uniting the people from mount Kenya.

She also elaborated on their stay in Azimio when asked on Raila’s endorsement.

”I think Kamwene started before unless you don’t live in this country even if you try by any stretch of imagination. Raila is entitled to endorse anyone never mind that he wrote a statement of clarification. Kalonzo Musyoka is our brother and we are in Azimio to stay but we still have Kamwene Focus.”She said.

Kioni emphasized that their coming together is to make sure the cost of living is affordable across the country and the interests of Mount Kenya .

”Coming together the way we have has nothing to do with politics.Tukiamka asubuhi tuanze kuongea politics wewe hapana shtuka!Wengine walianza kasarani even after stealing votes so lets leave politics behind.The main reason why we are here is to make sure that the cost of living is fair to our people.”He said.

Kioni point out the act of Moses Wetangula on not implementing that Sabina Chege is not their choice as Azimio’s whip because he is already in UDA Party.

Martha arguably condemned the act of President Ruto saying it is against the law to destroy people’s houses without giving them notice.She stated that the law demands that notices should be given that is the role of mediator and people concerned to see whether there is amicable settlement  or not before carrying out the demolitions.
