Martha’s Message to Kenyans and Ghetto Radio

“My message to Ghetto people is that we should never give up on life. The future is bright, but we shall have to sweat for it. To Kenyans, I give the same message, including our present circumstances. The situation is not permanent and there is something we can do about it. Let us redouble our resolve to make it better.”

This was in reference to the high cost of living in Kenya. The impact of the Finance Act 2023 and the recent rise in fuel costs has made it bleeding prompting Kenyans to tighten their belts beyond measure. There have been massive job cuts across the country with EABL recently relieving up to 168 off their jobs to stay afloat.
