Matatu Owners Defend Fare Hike

simonThe Matatu Owners Association has defended the current fare hike by the public service vehicles saying passengers should bear with the situation.

In an exclusive interview with the Ghetto Radion News Matatu Owners Association chairman Simon Kimutai says that is a norm that occurs in all sectors as demand increases.

Kimutai however, warned their members operating in Eldoret –Nairobi route to stop exaggerating the hike as it has been seen in the past two days.

Meanwhile quick check done by this station shows that many students have been stranded at Chogoria,Runyenjes,Nyeri ,Meru bus stages as a result of vehicle scarcity.
