The high court has fined Inspector General of police Joseph Boinnet, Interior CS Fred Matiangi and Immigration boss Gordon Kihalangwa 200,000 shillings each after the three were found guilty and in contempt of court orders.
Giving his ruling judge George Odunga directed the office the DPP to ensure the amount is deducted directly from the next months salary of Matiangi ,Boinet and Kihalangwa and be deposited to court.
He however, stated that any Kenyan can still move to court and seek orders barring the three from holding public offices.
Matiangi ,Boinet and Kihalangwa have been blatantly disregarding court orders to release lawyer Miguna Miguna and present him in court.
The latest were orders were issued yesterday and all fell on deaf ears and instead the government went ahead and deported Miguna back to Dubai.
