Matopeni MCA Abdi Guyo Officially Declares his Interest In embakasi Central MP Seat

Nairobi County Assembly Majority Leader Abdi Hassan Guyo has announced his interest to vie for Embakasi Central Member of Parliament come 2022.

Guyo who was speaking at a fundraiser in Kayole South church told his constituents that he will use a”Handshake Party”  to vie for the seat and not Hustler’s UDA.

“I want to announce today that I will be running for Embakasi Central parliamentary seat in 2022 and I will be using the handshake party forget about the wheelbarrow..” Guyo told congregants of African Revival Church.

‘‘I have been elected three times the first one was in 2007 second 2013 and third in 2017… I learnt a lot from the late Okeyo senior our former councilor so am not  new in Kayole…I wouldn’t  speak  much about Matopeni ward they know  what I have done…they have lights, title deeds, clean water and good sewage system,” he added.

He has prioritized education and youth and women empowerment on top of his manifesto should he clinch the seat in 2022.

“The area Member of Parliament should tell us what he has done with CDF funds for the last 5 years… he should not tell you about KURA road projects….” he stated.

He is enjoying the support of all MCAs in Embakasi Central Constituency.

The MCAs include Fred Okeyo of Kayole South, Jeremiah Themendu alias (Mofire) of Kayole Central, John Kamau [ Komarock ward]  and Samuel Ng’ang’a of Kayole North.

“Guyo is a true leader … nothing will deter us from supporting him in 2022…his development record speaks for itself …we also thank him for the good gesture today … remember he came and donated Ksh. 200,000 so that we can build  Africa Revival Church,” Okeyo Said.

Guyo will now face Benjamin Gathiru popularly known as Mejja Donk who will defend his seat on UDA ticket.
