Mbagathi Hospital facing drug shortage

0 709

Mbagathi hospital has reportedly been missing medical drugs for the past few days.

Patients visiting the hospital’s Pharmacy to get prescribed drugs are allegedly being referred to Pharmacys outside the facility.

Speculations are now rife that the drug problem may be as a result of the government failing to pay the suppliers.

The problem, has however affected mostly painkillers and Anti biotics.

In August 2018, the governor had suspended the Health CEC and County Health Director, citing the poor state of health facilities and lack of medicine.
