This year, Africa’s regional representation from the East to the West, the North to the South and central Africa has been represented within the judging process.
Big names from the region have fused with upcoming artists to make up a fine blend of Pan-African talent in this year’s Awards “We are elated to see the big thread of names and quite inspired to see new upcoming artists from Across Africa taking up center-stage and claiming critical space. This is exactly the spirit of the awards which we needed to see”, Said Dr. Fred Simiyu, the Chairman of the Kisima Music & Film awards.
In this new Pan-Africa infusion, every part of the continent in their language diversity is represented.
The release of the list of Nominees paves way for the final stage of the Awards process that opens up to the public voting.
