The Sudden Rise of Mbogi Genje

Mbogi Genje is a musical group made up of three members namely; Smady (Antony Odhiambo), Guzman (Teddy Ochieng) and Militant (Malaka Yuen).

It was founded in 2019. Just like a shooting star, they came from nowhere and took Kenyans by storm in 2019.

When they got in the music scene, it was unclear if they will make it, because other music groups of the same genre, Genge tone, had just also hit the music industry.

Why do Girls Love Bad Boys?

There has been the rising story of Will Smith and Jada Smith, it was evident that the highest percentage of ladies love bad boys. Not like bad bad but just the star boys in the area.

Being one of the baddest boys in town, Maji Maji asked them why girls are so much into boys like them. Miltan said that girls are soft and they don’t like soft boys too. They need boys that are hard according to him boys who can protect them.

They said they are working on new albums. It is almost the end of the year and they want to end the year in style. They said that the people should expect something breathtaking from them.

Mbogi Genje squad said they had an upcoming reggae show event that would take place at a location that would be communicated later. There will be several artists performing and all are welcome.

Mbogi Genje also went ahead and explained some of the lyrics in their hit song Morio Mbwakni. The group refuted this, saying their inspiration comes from their love of old school gangster artists like Vybz Kartel, Mavado, and Tommy Lee.
