Meg C attacked by fellow passenger over Flu-like symptoms (Video)


Songstress Yisriya Salim popularly known as Meg C has been isolated at the Kenya-Tanzania border halting her trip back to Nairobi.

According to a video shared on social media, the songstress was verbally attacked by a passenger who kept insisting she has Coronavirus.

The singer narrated how she has not been feeling well during her trip and even developed a cough.

“I am willingly accepting to do the test and whatever they asked me. They are polite to me and I have accepted them to check me. I have accepted them to check me because I am coughing and I’m not feeling well, I am coughing. It is sad someone called me corona. I’m in tears” he said

The songstress said she opted to travel by road after her flight to Nairobi was canceled.

Early reports alleged that the singer was in Tanzania to visit her new man but she refuted the allegations saying she was working.

“I’m stuck here. I’m asking everyone to pray for me during this difficult time because I’m hustling for my kids. Don’t judge me for not staying at home; I’m doing all this because of my kids. I pray that coronavirus tests negative. I have to be strong. I respect the government and people who are trying to protect us from this virus. This thing is real. Been traveling from the 1st of March in and out of Kenya and health officials think I have coronavirus because I’m coughing a lot. My voice is gone due to coughing.” She said
