Mejja Shares Secret Behind His Signature Tumbler

Kenyan Genge artist Mejja has revealed the secret behind his signature of having a tumbler in most of his recent music videos.

According to Mejja the tumbler in his video has no major meaning but is just a swag like anyother.

“Ni habit inakuwa documented ka vile unawezapata msee anapenda kushinda na toothpick ama matchstick kwa mdomo. Si ati kuna anything planned, iko tu hivo yaani,” says Mejja.

Content creator Mark Koigi, famously known as Kog Mark after noticing the tumbler swag created videos mimicking him.

The videos then went viral on social media.

“Ni msee alinotice habit na ikaspread online so ikakua hivo tu. Ata mimi mwenyewe sikuwa nimerealize nakuanga na tumbler karibu kwa video zote,”he says.

When asked what is always in the tumbler, he responded by saying that he cannot reveal also suggesting that any company dealing in beverages or drinks might want to work with him as a marketing strategy.

“Ningekuambia lakini maybe inaweza leta biashara, utapata next time Brookside ama kampuni flani wanataka kuwork na mimi.”

The ‘Usiniharibie Mood’ hit maker shares that he had plans of venturing into a business of selling his own trade marked tumblers but the team he was working with had proposed that a single tumbler would go for Ksh.60.

“Niko kwa shughuli ya kucheki ka naweza uza tumblers zimebrandiwa na jina yangu lakini team yangu ilisema nikianza kuzipackage niuzie watu wengi itakuja 60 bob, halafu zinapigana compe na hizi zingine, so staki ikuwa kitu watu watabuy once halafu wasahau. Heri ikue cheap ndio watu wabuy mara mob.”
