Kenyan International Francis Kahata is in talks with Gor Mahia following the expiry of his contract in the Tanzanian Premier League.
Kahata left Gor Mahia in 2019 and joined Simba on a two year deal and won two league titles and also played in the group stage of the Caf Africa Champions League.
According to Kahata his representatives are in talks with Kogalo and if all goes well he will rejoin his former team.
“My agent is in talks with Gor-Mahia and they have sent the former Organizing Secretary Judith Nyangi who is my friend to convince me and I have no problem as long as they meet certain requirements”, he said.
Kogalo surrendered Kenya Premier League title to Tusker and will represent the Country in Confederations Cup after winning the Shield Cup edging out their Bitter rivals Afc Leopards in the finals.
They have been exempted from the initial round of the 2021/22 Caf Confederation Cup as they are among the top-ranked teams in the continent.
They will wait to see who their second-opponent will be after a winner emerges from the derby pitting South Sudanese side Atlabara FC against their Sudanese neighbor Al Ahly Merowe.
