Controversial politician Miguna Miguna was on Monday forced to leave a meeting by an irate crowd he was addressing in Kasipul Kabondo, Homabay County.
Trouble started when Miguna started talking ill of Azimio Leader Raila Odinga when he was given a chance to address mourners at the funeral.
“We must tell our people the truth. We fought for multiparty democracy so that everyone in Kenya can enjoy the fruits of independence.
“Right now the people of Kenya cannot enjoy the fruits of independence because of one man called Raila Amollo Odinga. I have said it,” said Miguna.
Miguna had to quickly cut short his speech after the crowd became agitated with his speech. The crowd of both men and women was then escorted him to his vehicle which was parked outside.
Chants of, “Kwenda kabisa, hatukutaki, Kwenda kabisa, usiwahi ongea Raila vibaya Raila is not your agemate,” rented the air.
Miguna was attending the funeral of Elly Odhiambo and his wife Emmaculate Onyango who died on a road crash two weeks ago.
