New kids on the block, Mad Gaza Republik currently disturbing the peace with their runaway street anthem dubbed “Sanka Senke” have revealed that chewing Khat popularly known as Muguka/Jaba fires up their compositions.
The trending trio made the revelation during their Friday interview on the Mid-Morning Show at leading Kenyan urban media house Ghetto Radio, hosted by Stella Venessa.

Earlier, the group was scheduled for the Breakfast Show hosted by Majimaji and King Kafu but didn’t make it due to the city’s traffic snarl-ups.
According to Mad Gaza Republik, Jaba is easily available in the Ghetto, and it helps them in their creative processes since there are no jobs due to wanton corruption in the government.
Additionally, they refuted claims that Jaba is a dangerous stimulant.
Subsequently, they disclosed coining their musical style from Jaba, dubbed “Jabatone, Jabament, Governmental Literate”.
“Tunaandikanga tukiwa jaba alafu tunasema hii system yetu design imekuwa corrupt sasa hakuna hadi ngesa hakuna mboka sasa utafanya nini unatumia tu ile mongo yako ile akili yako umekaa chini uko jaba unapiga shugli yako polite…unachukua ka kitabu apo na kalamu unachora mistari…huko mtaa watu wengi wanaonanga kama jaba ni kitu mbaya naeza ambia mafans huko kwa mneti” they stated in part.

Mzagatas Refused to Be Managed by Kasa Boss
Mad Gaza Republik’s frontman, Mzagatas, also delved on his recent beef with street talent scout, Kasa Boss.
According to Mzagatas, Kasa Boss was not only misleading their fans but also forcing himself to be his manager.
Additionally, Mzagatas noted that he’s grown enough to manage himself.
Furthermore, he disclosed that the song “Sanka Senke” is a diss track aimed at Kasa Boss.
“Yeye ndio alikuwa anafanya mafans wanapata misunderstanding…na alikuwa anataka bado akuwe manager wangu mi nikamwambia hizo ni vako zenye haziweza dai” he explained in part.
However, he went on and asserted that they’ve since buried their differences.

Moreover, the fledgling trio added that they have countless new music, not to mention mystery collaborations with both underground and A-list artists, set to hit the airwaves soon.
