More Church leaders have joined calls to have the International Conference on Population and Development summit suspended over claims that it has set out agenda that is against culture and religious heritage.
Just two days after Catholic Bishops made call to reject the summit set to be held in Nairobi from the 12th to 14th of November, another group of bishops has also condemned the summit.
Led by Bishop Mark Kariuki, the bishops claim that the summit is out to advocate for same sex marriage which is against cultural values of Kenyans.
Catholic bishops also argued that the summit is also advocating for family planning and teaching of sexual reproductive health education in schools.
“The summit intend is to corrupt and expose young women in foreign ideologies like same sex unions and active immoral activities,” he said.
