Mvita Member of Parliament Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir has called on parents to allow candidates to attend additional training ahead of final examinations.

Abdulswamad has assured parents within Mvita constituency that he has set aside 11 training centers to give candidates opportunities to revise for examinations.

“We have targeted all the candidates in class eight and form four not only in Mvita but across the county,” said Abdulswamad.

He further disclosed that they have a plan to increase classes according to the number of candidates who will turn up for the extra training.

According to the program each training center will have its own timetable and lessons will begin from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

He has also assured parents that security has been improved in the area and all the lights within schools will be lit every day.

“Candidates will be trained on weekdays only and will be given free revision materials,” said Abdulswamad.

He noted that the government banned tuition but insisted that they have agreed with relevant authorities since there was need to provide extra learning to candidates in the area.

The program is sponsored by the Sharif Nassir Foundation and not CDF funds.
