Musician Nikita Kering Bags Two Awards At The AFRIMA 2021


Musician Nikita Kering has expressed her happiness after winning two awards at the 2021 AFRIMA awards.

The young musician won and took home the award of the Best Artiste RnB and Soul and Best Female Artiste East Africa.

Nikita won the award and defeated Tanzanian musician Zuchu and Nandy and become the best female musician in East Africa.

Taking to her social media, the ‘Ex’ hit maker thanked God and everyone who helped her win the two awards.

“THANK YOU !!! And @afrima.awards. I didn’t do this alone, I did it with you. Thank you and Thank God. Best Artiste Rnb and Soul, Best Female Artiste East Africa,” wrote Nikita.

Her fans took to her comment section to congratulate her for winning the award and making Kenya proud.

“Na kuna mtu ana claim industry ina fail….. “ congratulations Nikita 🇰🇪✨💫,” wrote realbuggi.


“Winning awards at a young age 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏thanks for taking the responsibility of the country with winning awards. KENYA TO THE WORLD,” wrote hostvinsky.

Kenyan group Sauti Sol on the other hand took home the best group award and took the opportunity to thank their fans for voting for them.

“Thank you so much for the award that we have won tonight. You guys have been amazing, we thank you our fans and each other. We thank you AFRIMA and AFRIMA fraternity and for everyone who has voted for us,” they said.

The 2021 AFRIMA awards ceremony was held in Lagos, Nigeria, yesterday, Sunday evening.
