Colonel Mustafa is set to perform at The Ol’Skool Festival which will be happening at the Waterfront, Karen on 30th July 2022.
The rapper who recently made a music comeback after taking a five year break from the scene shares that the concert to be held a few days to the General Elections will be about reminiscing the good old times.
“I know that most of the people who were listening to us are all grown up, settled and with families. It would be a good opportunity to come together with the rest of the top old school artists to remember the old days through performances,” says Mustafa.
This will not be his first show after making a comeback since he performed at a live concert last weekend at The Winning Post.
Speaking in a recent interview on NIAJE NIAJE, the Tanzania-born Kenyan rapper revealed that he is working on an album which is set to be released soon and added that he had already dropped a single dubbed ‘Maloko’.
Mustafa also shared his thoughts on the recent music genre, Gengetone, adding that artists like Chris Kaiga have perfected the music released under the said genre.
“Every style can be made in such a way that it turns well and I think some Gengetone artists like Chris Kaiga bring it out so well,” he said.
Other artist expected to share the stage with Mustafa at the event include DNA famously know for the hit ‘Fimbo Chapa’ which he did with Grandpa Family, Kenrazy, DJ Stannus Kodeseven and Mr. Nice all the way from Tanzania.
