Machakos senator Johnson Muthama and Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire are under house arrest after police surrounded their residence in Nairobi.
Police cordoned off Muthama’s house at night and no one is being allowed in and out.
Muthama is among leaders who were summoned by police yesterday over allegations of hate speech.
He said he had not received summons formally to warrant him appear before the DCI.
Suna East MP Junet Mohamed also says police visited his house last night but did not find him.
Other MPs summoned to record statement are Moses Kuria, Ferdinand Waititu, Kimani Ngunjiri and Aisha Jumwa.
Waititu and Kuria appeared before CID on Monday evening and were grilled before leaving.
