My Teenage Daughter Was Stressed Before She Mysteriously Went Missing
A family in Mukuru Kwa Njenga is in distress following the disappearance of their missing of their daughter Jackline Musyoka.
Jackline who is 14 years old went missing more than one week ago on the 21st of May.
She was a learner at the Mukuru Community Centre Primary school within Mukuru Kwa Njenga slums.
Jackline’s mother Christine Musyoka says that she reported the matter to Imara Daima Police Post but they are yet to trace her.
After days of futile search Ms Musyoka says that she got wind from a friend that Jackline had been spotted within Mukuru Kwa Njenga in an isolated area before joining other boys and later vanished in the darkness to an unknown place.
Since her friend did not have a phone when she spotted Jackline, she was unable to call the mother and also for the fear of being assaulted by the unruly youths in Jackline’s company.
“Recently she was spotted by a neighbour with a group of youths, she was alone but later joined by some youths, they later vanished in the darkness but my neighbour did not have a phone,” said Ms. Musyoka.
Ms. Musyoka further narrates that before Jackline’s disappearance she looked so stressed and depressed but whenever she would ask her why she appeared stressed Jackline would say she is ‘ok’.
Holding to the fact that family is founded on staunch Christian faith, Christine narrates that she had involved the church members to help her counsel her daughter.
“ I could tell whenever she was babysitting her concentration was not on the whatever she was assigned to do,bu whenever I realize I would ask her why she was stressed but she denied being stressed and would only say ‘ mummy am ok’,” Christine narrates.
Mukuru Kwa Njenga has in the recent past been in the security agents radar after it was reported that a criminal gang group had emerged targeting gullible girls especially the school going aged to recruit them into criminal groups.
Members of the public with informationof Jacklines Musyoka’s whereabouts are requested to report to the nearest police post or call the mother on 0715097053
