The MYSA U14 boys’ team has left for Norway


The team will participate in one of the world’s largest football tournament with more than 4200 matches being played during one week in Oslo.

They will have a one-day visit in Holland under the invitation of Stitching Union, Friends for MYSA and their sponsors then proceed to Oslo.

In Oslo, the team will be hosted by MYSA friends of Norway (MViN) in Brumunddal as part of the exchange program to learn the Norwegian culture.

The tournament will kick off on 30th July 2017 until 4th August 2017 after which they team will visit Holland for series of friendly matches and specialized training programs for a period of one week then travel back to Kenya on 14th August 2017 at21:45hrs.

Among those in the squad include : Lennox Kimani, Fredrick Inyanza, Faiz Ouma, Fidel Brandon, Jacob Otieno,Andres Odhiambo, Eugene Kola, Teddy Onyango (Team Captain), Alex Warai, Sigmunn Maina, RyanWesley, Dancan Omondi, Wesley Maziguru, Solomon Matindi,PaulMutuku, Benjamin Siboke,

Charles Okere (Coach), Henry Majale (MYSA CEO), Victor Oduma (MYSA Executive Council Chairperson) and Bob Munro (Chairman BOT).

 MYSA was founded in 1987, in Mathare area of Nairobi; home to some of Africa’s largest and poorest slums in Africa.

Over the years, the organization has expanded including other types of sport activities, arts and culture, health education, photography, youth rights, community libraries, music and culture projects, that imparts life skills messages through entertainment.
