The most prestigious African Music Awards-MAMA is set to take place in a re-imagined virtual format in partnership with the Pearl of Africa.
The award which showcases the ultimate in African culture and creativity is set to take place in Uganda on Feb 20th 2021.
Kenyan Popstar Nadia Mukami was elated to be the only female to land a nomination in the Best Fan-Base Award category.
Sheis set to battle it out with African heavyweights in the Best Fan-Base Award category pitying the Evergreen Diamond Platnumz, Wizkid, Casper Nyovest, Naira Mailey, Shatta Wales, A Reege and Fally Ipupa.
Nadia who is regarded as the most hardworking female act in Kenya and boasting of a heavy online presence shared the good news with her millions of fans stating that she dreamt of being an African Global Star and was still pressing hard to attain the mark.
She has urged her fans to vote for her in droves and bring the title home.
Other Kenyan Celebrities to get nomination include Khaligraph Jones in the Best Hip Hop Category , Boy Band Sauti Sol and Ethic Entertainment in the Best group category.
Wasafi’s Mellow voiced Songbird Zuchu has also been nominated in the Breakthrough Act Category,Konde Gang Boss Harmonize in the Best Male Category and Diamond Platinumz in the Artiste of the Year Category.We wish them the best of luck.
