Nairobi Central Business District has remained relatively deserted day two after Christmas festivities with most residents opting to stay away from the city centre.
But even as the city’s CBD remained deserted, a spot check by Ghetto Radio confirmed heavy presence of security agents both uniformed and plain clothed on major Nairobi streets.
Hundreds of armed security personnel were however, spotted patrolling the streets of Nairobi and randomly stopped passersby for questioning.
Most drivers are taking advantage of the situation flout traffic rules .
