Nairobi City County Liquor Board is set to construct three new rehabilitation centres for alcohol addicts to accommodate the overwhelming number of the addicts in the county.
Areas expected to benefit are Dagoreti,Jerico and Mathare .
Board chairman Ken Odhiambo says the new centres will be fully equipped with modern facilities and staffs.
Meanwhile the board maintains that the crackdown continues on bars and wines and spirits outlets that do not have licence.
According to Odhiambo, last month alone they closed five bars in Umoja and Buruburu that were selling unsafe alcohols and operating without licence.
