Nairobi county residents residing in county houses and have rent arrears of more than ksh 100 ,000 will now be evacuated forcefully in an exercise that is expected to kick off tomorrow.
Addressing the media Chief Officer Nairobi county administration Dr. John Ntoti says county tenants owe them about ksh.56 million rent arrears.
He says most tenants have gone without paying rent close to two years.
Ntoiti says the move has also derailed county revenues collection with defaulters ignoring county warning letters.
The notorious estates are woodly, Kenyatta, Ngara, Maringo, Jericho, Kaloleni among other places.
