Nairobi County under pressure to repair roads destroyed by rains

Nairobi city county government is now on the run to fix roads in the CBD following public pressure.

The county has already begun some work at Tom Mboya street, Ufungamano lane, Chege Karume  road and Rendile road.

According roads Chief Officer Fred Karanja the five roads are expected to be fully fixed by  the end of the next week.

Ghetto Radio News has also established that the job is being done inconjunction with Kenya Urban and Rural Authority.

He however, maintained that the rains are a major set-back to their work and some roads will be repaired later.

Meanwhile Dandoro phase four matatu  drivers have askedthe governor to repair the Uhuru Kenyatta road from phase three saying its in deplorable state.
