The Bursary Fund
According to Korogocho MCA Abisalom Odhiambo alias Matach, Sakaja and his finance officials have only 24 hours to release the funds failure to which they will paralyze county government operations.
“CEC Finance Mr Kerich was here last Friday told us clearly that this money is there and will be released promptly up to this moment nothing to show.” He said.
His Gatina counterpart Kennedy Swaka says the Sakaja is taking MCAs for a ride and he is busy playing ping pong games with their minds.
“He has only 24 hours to release those funds we can not continue in this state..parents are asking MCAs left right center about this money but we have no answer because we did our part by passing the budget .This county collects around 30 million shillings a day only one week collection is enough for the bursaries.” Swaka told the media.”
“As a teacher I can’t allow children to go without bursaries because of selfish interests.. they must just produce the cash or else this county will not fit all of us …. Taxpayers must be protected these are poor parents who do not have any source of income and they have a right to enjoy services from the government sakaja must act now,” Swaka added.
Meanwhile our effort to reach the governor Sakaja over bursary puzzle is still unfruitful.
