Nairobi County Assembly Speaker Ken Ng’ondi has been involved in a grisly road accident in Donhlom area.
He was not on the official car that was hit by the train as he was trailing right behind in a private vehicle.
The driver of the car involved in the accident has been hospitalized at Matter Hospital.
In an exclusive interview with Ghetto Radio News the speaker confirmed that he is safe and only one of his aide was hospitalized.
“It was tragic but thank God I was not in that car…the train was in high speed hooted but it seems my driver did not hear anything and that is when he was knocked. I can assure you am alive because of the grace of the Lord I was just behind this car,” he told Ghetto Radio News.
The Prado make vehicle involved in the accident was badly damaged on the front and on the side.
Meanwhile the police have taken over the matter and investigations are underway.
