A section of residents in Kisumu County near the Kisumu Polytechnic are decrying the rising rate of insecurity in the area.
This is after a student at Kisumu Polytechnic was last night attacked by marauding thugs and stabbed several times on the chest.
The attack on the student is one of the many series of incidents that have seen inocent residents attacked by the suspected thugs in the area.
The residents claim that most of the perpetrators of the criminal acts are suspected thugs from Nairobi and Nakuru who have been warned by Hessy wa Dandora.
Some of the estates in Kisumu infiltrated by these suspected thugs include Manyatta, Nyalenda, Kaloleni and Makasembo.
The residents claim that Hessy’s warning might have reduced crime in Nairobi but has instead bred insecurity in Kisumu County.
“He was a student at Kisumu Polytechnic he was stabbed on the chest…areas around poly has became so unsafe and hunting ground for goons… Kisumu sikuizi imekuwa worse we beg you bring crusade kama ya Nakuru huku,its like wezi wakipewa warning Nai na nakuru wanahamia huku.. Manyatta,Nyalenda, Kaloleni, Markasembo… everyone in Kisumu has a story to tell about their ordeal,” decried one resident.
