Nairobians hail NYS bus services

The National Youth Service buses continued with their day four operations of transporting commutters despite the continued uproar from the matatu sector.

Commutters using the buses have described them as a sigh of relief especially during this rainy season.

Those who spoke to Ghetto Radio News welcomed the Ksh 20 flat rate saying that it is pocket friendly.

Charles Kakuna  a fruit and grocery vendor in Kawangware says that the buses are comfortable and do not charge for extra luggage as compared to the PSVs.

Amos Kitheka a resident of Dandora working at Industrial area appreciates the initiative since he was spending a lot on transport especially when it rain’s.

He said that the government should add more NYS buses to ease transport in Nairobi.
