The National Youth Service buses continued with their day four operations of transporting commutters despite the continued uproar from the matatu sector.
Commutters using the buses have described them as a sigh of relief especially during this rainy season.
Those who spoke to Ghetto Radio News welcomed the Ksh 20 flat rate saying that it is pocket friendly.
Charles Kakuna a fruit and grocery vendor in Kawangware says that the buses are comfortable and do not charge for extra luggage as compared to the PSVs.
Amos Kitheka a resident of Dandora working at Industrial area appreciates the initiative since he was spending a lot on transport especially when it rain’s.
He said that the government should add more NYS buses to ease transport in Nairobi.
