Netizens Roast KRG The Don For Clout Chasing On Cash Gift

Popular Kenyan dancehall Star KRG The Don has been hit at by a section of netizens for clout chasing on his cash gift to Gengetone Trio Mbuzi Gang.

A few days ago, KRG who’s known for his showy moves in display of his wealth through the use of heavy motor vehicles and splashing money shared a video while having a meal where he sent word out seeking to meet Mbuzi Gang for a possible collaboration.

 “Kuna group inanibamba ni Gang inaitwa Mbuzi Gang hawa maboyz maze niwa baad wako na talent ni wanoma nawatafuta mbaya sana manze niko na surprise for them yani hatujawahi meet hatujawahi fanya any business with them,” Stated KRG.

He went further and revealed that he knows Mbuzi Gang’s Producer, Kashkeed who has not been picking his calls and reminded him of the surprise he had for the Gengetone Crew.

 “Lakini najua producer wao anaitwa Kash keed ni beste yangu na nimejaribu kumpigia simu kutoka jana hashiki simu yangu so Kash keed ni link na Mbuzi Gang niko na surprise yao na ni ya maana, so am looking for you guys, i love your work and I appreciate your work so big up upon yourselves one more time, mkae mkijua nawatafuta na nina surprise bad yenu big up sana,” added KRG.

Meets Mbuzi At Studio Promises 200 k Each After Collabo

In  yet another video posted on his Instagram, KRG shows up in a sleek ride at Mbuzi Gang’s studio, Black Market where he meets the trio Gengetone Star’s and splashes them with unnamed sums of cash before promising to fork out 200k on completion of two songs in audio and video form.

Flaunts Six Hundred Thousand

In his last video, KRG pulls over in his fuel guzzler. He flaunts the six hundred thousand meant for Mbuzi Gang maintaining that the money already belongs to them.

“Cheddar ya Mbuzi Gang ndio hii, soo ya kwanza, soo ya pili, Mia ya tatu, Mia ya nne sawa Mzee ya tano na ya sita,”revealed KRG.

He further goes ahead and discloses the noise around of him not being able to honour his promise.” nimeskia ooh KRG hawezi toa hiyo doo” he says in part of his statement.

Word has been thrown his way for indulging in money laundering and profiteering commonly known as “Wash wash”. “Wash wash master” fired one user, “How do you have more clout than music😂” shot another user. Mbuzi Gang remains one of the most popular Gengetone groups. Their song ‘Shamra Shamra’ is still the talk of the town with barely a year since it’s release. It currently has more than 7 million views on YouTube.
