New Police recruits Directed To Report To College Next Week
The 10,000 police recruits picked at the beginning of this month have been directed to report to their designated colleges on Friday next week.
In a statement, Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet indicated that the verification process was over and that those shortlisted should collect their joining instructions from their local police stations on April 22.
He cautioned the recruits against paying any fee for the documents which he says will be made available to them upon production of original national Identity Cards and signed acknowledgement sheets.
The exercise was carried out in 331 centres in 290 constituencies countrywide and many candidates had complained that they had been locked out.
