Nicki Minaj has once again rescheduled the release of her highly-anticipated album, Pink Friday 2. Initially, the album was set to drop on October 20, but it was then postponed to November 17.
After revealing the title for her upcoming LP in June, Nicki Minaj has once again pushed back the arrival of Pink Friday 2.

The rapper took to Instagram live on Tuesday to announce that her new record will now drop on Dec. 8, her 41st birthday.
“The new album date for this incredible body of work, that I am so proud of is on a special day to me and to the Barbz — it will come out on my birthday,” said Minaj. “Pink Friday 2 I am so happy to announce will be out on my birthday.”
Minaj originally scheduled the record to drop on the 20th Oct , then later pushed the album to Nov. 17.
Although she didn’t state the reason for the second delay, Minaj insisted on Twitter it was due to “some really exciting news that I’ll share with you guys @ a later time.”
Now, fans can look forward to the album’s release on December 8, a date that holds special significance as it coincides with Nicki Minaj’s birthday.

Nicki’s Reason For Rescheduling

She explained, “Weezy and 2 Chainz, they announced their date. And you know how me and Weezy play.
This connection likely played a role in her decision to shift the album’s release date to avoid a scheduling conflict.
Nicki also revealed to fans that a new perfume called Pink Friday 2 in partnership with Amazon & JC Penny will come out December 13. Fans will also be able to sign up for the Pink Friday tour next month.
