Dismembered Body

On January 14th, 2024, Detectives were called after the body of a woman was found in an AirBnb apartment in Nairobi.

The woman’s body had been chopped and stuffed in waste polythene papers.

A woman who runs the facility stated that she received a phone call on Saturday evening around 3pm for the house’s booking. The suspect later checked out the following day on Sunday.

However, she later received information from the caretaker notifying her of the presence of polythene bags and a bedsheet soaked in blood.

When police arrived at the scene, they were shocked to find the body of a young woman dismembered with her head missing.

While combing the area for leads, the police were able to have access of CCTV footage of an adjacent building which captured the suspect.

Speculations are rife that the murder is an act of cultism noting how the killing happened.

This comes barely days after Instagram model, Starlet Wahu was murdered at an AirBnb apartment with the main suspect, John Matara arrested while receiving treatment for stab wounds at the Mbagathi hospital.
