Nine Rabbits Pulled Out Alive In Huruma Rubble
Search and rescue operations at the collapsed Huruma building could go on longer after the Kenya Red Cross pulled out nine rabbits from the debris alive.
The emergency service provider says the discovery of the rabbits showed signs of life in the six storey building that collapsed last Friday after heavy rains.
Earlier in the day, a decision to use heavy machinery to remove the debris was rescinded after an infant was pulled out of the rubble.
The death toll has risen to more 25 with the number of those rescued being 135.
