Kenyan gospel singer Owen Mwatia popularly known as Daddy Owen has weighed in on opening a church that won’t rely on congregants offerings fondly refered to as ‘Sadaka’ for sustainability.

The ‘Vanity’ singer made the revelation through his social media platform, Instagram where he shared his photo dressed up in a suit at a pulpit.

“If/when I will start a church;

1.Sitaitisha sadaka” He wrote

He went further maintaining that his church will dwell on hosting open forums where congregants will have a chance to freely ask questions in tackling life issues.

“I will be hosting open forums, where the congregants can ask questions once a month like the last Sunday of every month,” he added.

Still Owen sought for suggestions from his fans on what else he should undertake once he sets up the place of worship.
