The probe of what transpired in the scuffle that saw speaker Beatrice Elachi being ejected dramatically from her office continued today and with nominated MCA Mary Njambi who featured dominantly in the fracas being interrogated.
Njambi nominated the headlines with her cries of being sprayed with pepper.
Appearing before powers and privileges committee Njambi denied storming and insulting the speaker but instead advised the committee members to concentrate on her ‘ pili pili’ cry not her reaction.

According to her the pepper that Elachi sprayed on her face affected her mentally and till now she can not see well .
OCPD Central division Robinson Thuku who was also questioned on how he invaded the assembly premises and into the office of the speaker contrary to asembly powers and privileges act 2017.
Thuku defended himself saying he was called by Elachi several times to come and save her from rowdy MCAs who stormed the office.
Other MCAs who appeared and were also grilled today include majority leader Abdi Guyo and Anthony Kiragu who also denied any wrong doing in the whole saga.
