The blankets and wine event has been talk of town since it happened around a week and a half ago. People have been wondering who came up with the idea of such an event.
The blankets and wine is not all about blankets and wine as its name. Its all about good time , good music, food, drinks and lots of art.
The blankets and wine began in 2008 and has been making headlines ever since. No Kenyan event has ever beat the blankets and wine one.

People always turn up in large numbers no matter the venue and the climatic conditions at the moment. The invited artists are always Kenyan Musicians .
Out of experience, the artists surely deliver a hundred percent. They arrive in time for their performance, dress to kill and the energy they carry with them , amazing would be an understatement.
Chris Kaiga’s Performance at the Blankets and Wine event 2024
During the most recent blankets and wine event, everything went on well as planned or even way much better than expected.
Just as Blinky Bill was performing, the rain started and good thing, there was enough shade so people couldn’t be rained on. The performance was more than wild but by the time the next artist , Chris Kaiga , was performing, the rain had become unbearable.

He bore with the situation and the crowd motivated him to perform even more. However,the situation got out of hand and the rain water started reaching the equipment.
People claimed they couldn’t hear Chris perform and so he had to step down for a minute as a solution was being looked for.
The expectations were that people would leave the premises but they waited till everything was taken care of and Chris Kaiga was back on stage.
Everyone was amazed by the love shown and the kind gesture of the artist to bear with the situation. He and the following artists performed and everyone had a good time.
