Nyamweya, Harambee Stars veterans visit ailing Shedu

Former FKF President, Sam Nyamweya on Saturday visited ailing veteran former Harambee Stars player and KCB coach Rashid Khamisi (Shedu).

Nyamweya was accompanied by former internationals Bobby Ogolla and Ricky Solomon at his California home, Nairobi.

Shedu who is also an ex-Bandari Coach suffered an ankle injury while coaching Bandari.

Shedu, who has also handled several top clubs in the country, including Ulinzi Stars, Bandari and KCB, says his condition has left him unable to walk and thus cannot undertake day to day activities.

Shedu is appealing for Ksh. 1.8 million so that he can travel to India for corrective surgery.

Speaking at the event, Nyamweya, lashed out at Kenyan doctors, saying that Shedu did not have to travel to India had they done their job correctly.

Nyamweya pledged Ksh. 400,000 to help Shedu travel to Shalby Hospital in India for treatment.

A fundraiser was set for 7th March, 2018 at the 680 hotel.
