Kenya women’s national team the Harambee Starlets will host Cameroon for the second leg African Cup of Nations qualifiers second leg at the Nyayo National Stadium.

Cabinet Secretary for Sports Ababu Namwamba had handed the stadium to the Kenya Defense Forces for renovation to international standards as the Country prepares as the country prepares to bid to host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.

In the 1st leg of the encounter of the games that will be hosted in Morocco starlets lost by a solitary goal in the first leg on Friday night.

The match was played at Reunification Stadium in Douala, Cameroon, where Spain-based defender Eliane Mambalano scored the all-important goal in the first half.

Should Harambee Starlets emerge as the aggregate winners of the two-legged qualifier, they will face either Gabon or Botswana in the second round, scheduled between November 27 and December 5, 2023.
