Odhiambo’s late equalizer helps Kenya Police share spoils with Nairobi Stima

Kenya Police was held to a 1-1 draw by Nairobi Stima in their National Super League round 27 fixture played on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at the Ruaraka Grounds.

In the 11th minute, Charles Sila sent off a shot from the area in an attempt for a goal for Kenya Police but missed the target by inches.

Several attempts were made by both teams to get the lead in the first half, however, they all fell naught, closing the scores at 0-0.

After the breather, Charles Sila was booked after a foul on Nairobi Stima’s Billy Mutsami in the 52nd minute.

Nairobi Stima almost nicked the lead after John Njoroge received a nice delivery into the area, but shot the ball wide in his attempt for goal in the 56th minute.

Tevin Opondo broke the stalemate in the 61st minute for Nairobi Stima after tipping the ball to the back of the net.

Five minutes past stoppage time, Kenya Police equalized the scores after Caroly Odhiambo converted from a corner kick, sealing the scores at 1-1.
