ODM Aspirant Among Nominees In Sakaja’s Cabinet


Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has unveiled a 10 member County Executive Committee Members.

Sakaja’s Cabinet consists of two CEC’s from the previous administration namely Charles Kerich and Larry Wambua.

Kerich has been appointed the CEC for Treasury and Planning while Wambua has been appointed as the economic affairs advisor.

Son of former Minister Fred Gumo, Michael Gumo will lead the Innovation and Digital Economy docket.

Sakaja has also introduced a new docket called the Business and Hustler Opportunities. This docket will be led by Rosemary Kariuki.

Suzanne Silantoi who competed against Sakaja in the 2017 senatorial race has been appointed Inclusivity, Public Participation and Customer Service CEC.

Steven Mwangi has been appointed CEC for Urban Planning while Ibrahim Auma has been appointed the Burroughs Administration and Personnel CEC.

Maureen Njeri HAS been appointed CEC for Green Nairobi and Dr. Anastasia Mutethia appointed CEC for Health and Wellness.

Sakaja’s long term Personal Assistant and campaign Manager David Njoroge has also been appointed the Chief of Staff.

“This team has been very carefully selected to meet the challenge and responsibility that lies before them, They shall be held accountable to the people of Nairobi,” Sakaja announced.

The list has already been presented to the speaker of the Nairobi County Assembly for vetting.
