Officer On Duty During Echesa’s Visit To Ruto’s Office During Arms Deal Found Dead
One of the police officers attached to Deputy President William Ruto’s office who was on duty when former Sports Cabinet Secretary Richard Echesa visited the office with officers has been found dead.
The officer was found dead with a bullet wound in his head at his house at Imara Daima.
Apparently the Ksh. 39 Billion arms deal was made during Echesa’s visit at Ruto’s office.
Sources say that detectives have been waiting for the officer to record statement for two days to no success.
Several officials in Ruto’s office have also been questioned in the fake arms deal by DCI sleuths.
Ruto however yesterday wrote to the Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai demanding to know the security breach that saw Echesa and the foreigners access his office happened.
