Oliech Lands a deal with Betway
Betway and Dennis Oliech have entered into partnership that will see the former National team Captain become the official ambassador for the Online Betting firm.
Oliech is expected to represent Betway in various functions around the Country.
The former FC Nantes and AC Ajaccio striker Dennis Oliech is cosidered a legend in the country and a significant coup which earned him a deal that is to run for 12 months.
Betway Group CEO Richard Akitt, said: “ “Betway is a world-class brand that is growing rapidly in Kenya and having Dennis alongside us only serves to underline our commitment to the country.”
Oliech has not been actively involved in football since parting ways with French club, Ajaccio in the summer of 2015.
After leaving France, he joined United Arab Emirates outfit Duabi CSC but his stay in the Middle East did not last.
Popularly known as “The Menace”, the former Harambee Stars captain had a glittering international career and is best remembered for the cracking goal he scored as a substitute in 2003 against Cape Verde that fired Stars to the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations finals held in Tunis, Tunisia.
