Operations at City Hall Halted over power blackout

Operations at City Hall and other county government facilities have been halted over power blackout that started yesterday.

According to chief officer who did want his name mentioned  city hall owes Kenya power 750 millions Kenya shillings a move that prompted Kenya power to cut off electricity.

The available generator is only serving county assembly ,governors’ wing and  one lift in City Hall Annex.

Spot check done by Ghetto Radio News this afternoon shows that most offices are shut including Trade and tourism ministerial office.

County officials who visited Kenya Power to seek audience with them were also locked up this morning at Stima Plaza.

The situation   is now described as supremacy battle between the two institutions as city residents continues to  reckon in inquest for  services.
